We are searching for experienced and dedicated Senior Project Managers to plan, develop and project manage a portfolio of HRP’s major projects across all sites, from inception to completion and keeping to budget and HRP quality standards. You may also act as Project Sponsor on major projects which deliver HRP’s key strategic initiatives and changes on site, and will work in a team to develop project proposals, establishing the business case, framework, cost plan and delivery programme.

Reporting to the Head of Projects and Surveyor of the Fabric, you will be have responsibility for the delivery of major projects and will provide the focus for day-to-day management of capital project teams, requiring you to work closely with our specialist consultants and contractors on Building Conservation and Major Project work at our extraordinary sites.

You will be professionally qualified in a construction discipline (RICS/RIBS or equivalent) and will have significant relevant experience, including some conservation which will be demonstrable through the projects which you have managed. Your experience will be in multi-disciplinary construction projects, including complex conservation, re-presentation and new builds, and you will have extensive technical knowledge of tracitional construction techniques and materials.

With natural leadership qualities, you will be an effective people manager and will use your excellent communication skills to problem solve and adopt a solutions based approach. A sound grasp of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Project) is required, and AutoCAD proficiency is preferred but not essential.

Travel to all HRP sites will be required.
