Key members of HRP's IS team adopt an on-call rota and call out processes for certain roles and skills, and this role may need to take part in this to help cover out of hours IT services.

We are a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. We create space for spirits to stir and be stirred.

This is a unique setting where you would be working across some of the world's most iconic historical palaces such as the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace. With approximately 750 IS users across all sites and working remotely, it is crucial that our systems are fit for purpose. We are looking to appoint an Infrastructure Engineer within the Infrastructure Team to assist with maintaining core business systems and develop new solutions as appropriate to support HRP’s cause.

Responsibilities include: maintaining physical and virtual server environments (including VMWare and Azure) based on Microsoft Server OS; assisting with automation; O365 and Azure AD administration and supporting SQL server. We are particularly interested in your Azure cloud skills to assist us in migrating core services away from on-premise infrastructure, and your expertise with end-user device management technology such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, InTune, SCCM and Airwatch.

You will be expected to undertake work across all palaces as required and to provide support on occasion for out of hours events or incidents. You will have proven technical skills and extensive knowledge of the core components of a medium sized enterprise architecture. Extensive practical knowledge of Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems, SQL database infrastructure and Powershell will be required, and hands-on experience of migrating services to Azure would be a benefit.
