Project Managers
Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.
We are looking for a number of Project Managers to give our wonderful historic palaces the care they deserve, ensuring that the building fabric is maintained to exemplary conservation standards. You will be expected to deliver portfolios of high quality planned maintenance and improvement projects and provide support to the Senior Project Manager and on the delivery of Major Projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and review of building conservation programmes and policy and be required to providing surveying advice and input to HRP staff and project teams.
You should be either a Chartered Surveyor or an Architect with RIBA Part 3, with some post qualification experience, ideally within an historic building environment. A conservation qualification would be preferred, although not essential. Technical knowledge including building pathology and contract administration is required and a genuine Interest and experience in the conservation of historic buildings with the knowledge of traditional materials and techniques would enable success.
