Seasonal Palace Host – Kensington Palace

Role to commence from May 2024 and end 15th September 2024

For this summer season we are currently looking for new team members to support our exciting new exhibition called Untold Lives: A Palace at Work. This exhibition shines a spotlight on the overlooked people from all walks of life who have worked tirelessly and often behind-the-scenes at Kensington Palace.  

As a Palace Host at Kensington Palace every moment is an opportunity to make someone’s day. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and creating memorable customer experiences for all our visitors, whilst also ensuring the day to day safety and security of our palaces, their collection and our guests. 

Your main role will include bag searching, ticket scanning, wayfinding, handing out and collecting the Palace’s Digital Visitor Guide (audioguide), and managing the entrance procedures including queue management.  

As a Palace Host you will also undertake cross-role working as and when required to support the Palace Host Guides and Palace Host Sales in the running of the palace and the visitor experience. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, security and working as part of a team. You will have a positive and flexible approach, being able to adapt your style to respond to visitor needs.  

Assessment Centre: Week commencing Monday 8th April 2024
