Help us unearth, record and disseminate the stories from the 18th century to the present day of Hillsborough Castle and gardens, empowering colleagues to engage with our actual and on-line visitors.

Following an established research brief and working with Hillsborough’s Curator, you will undertake independent research, producing a body of concentrated research taking the form of archived material and outward facing material, and establish an archive system easy to navigate for curatorial and Public Engagement users.

Interviews will be held on Monday 29th October at Hillsborough Castle.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of history with post-graduate research experience, a knowledge of British and Irish history from an Anglo-Irish Big House perspective, or 20th century political history, as well as being an independent worker at their best in a fast paced environment.
