We currently have a vacancy for a full time Events Coordinator based at Banqueting House, Whitehall. This is on a Fixed Term contract until January 2020.

Reporting to the Senior Events Executive, your role will be to offer a world class service to customers through the pro-active administration of all Palace events and to actively support the events team in all aspects of Banqueting House activities.

You will be a core member of the Functions and Events Team who are responsible for the development and delivery of the corporate and private hire business at the Banqueting House Whitehall.

Your role will be to provide support and coordination to the F&E team by dealing with all written and verbal enquiries, including dealing with initial event enquiries, taking phone messages and booking show around appointments for the Execs. You will also support the Senior Event Executive with the planning and delivery of various promotional events which take place annually at the Banqueting House.

You will have strong communication and administration skills, be proficient in IT and be able to manage databases (Kinetix preferable).

To succeed you will need to be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for events, who is calm under pressure and has an efficient and diplomatic approach in dealing with our high volume of customer enquiries. You will have a flair for written communication and a good knowledge and understanding of the events industry.

Interviews will be held on either the 6th or 7th January 2019.
