As an auditor, you will be based at the stunning Hampton Court Palace and work across our beautiful sites experiencing a wide range of audits from finance and retail, through conservation and large-scale building projects, to gardening or music festivals. You will be part of a wider highly engaged Audit and Risk team and also work closely with our external auditing partners.

You will play an integral role in the audit team to investigate, understand, analyse and test our systems of governance, risk management, and control. You will collaborate with senior management to make pragmatic recommendations for improvement and draft clear and concise reports to communicate these. We are a small team with a large reach, so you will need to be comfortable working both within a team and independently, and able to prioritise and manage your time well to balance multiple assignments as efficiently as possible.

We are building a forward looking audit team that uses modern collaborative methods to work with the business to achieve our combined vision for HRP. We are looking for someone with passion and willingness to learn who is not afraid to try new things. You will be fully qualified with a recognised accountancy (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) or internal audit (IIA, CIA etc.) qualification, with extensive auditing experience. Knowledge of IIA or Public Sector Internal Audit Standards, risk-based and lean auditing techniques, public sector or charity finance would be advantageous. You will have excellent analytical skills, able to get to the root cause of problems quickly and communicate complex issues at all levels. In addition, you will have a high level of commercial and strategic awareness, and the skills necessary to inspire and influence our colleagues across HRP.

In return we offer a unique working environment with a competitive benefits package.
