Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens in Northern Ireland. Each of the six Palaces in our care have fascinating stories to tell. They are symbols of power and royal splendour, but also witnesses of turbulent times, war and politics, family strife, love and betrayal, expansion and revolution.

Your role will be to support our Creative Producers in bringing their stories to life for our audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work within HRP’s newly established Arts & Cultural Programming team on producing an ambitious programme of immersive experiences and ‘Lates’ across multiple sites.

We are looking for a bright, creative professional with a background in performing/live arts and a good understanding of producing. You will be an original thinker and a great team player, able to work on your own initiative and eager to support others to succeed. You will work well under pressure to meet deadlines. A passion for the arts and cultural sector is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Your work will encompass day-to-day administration and financial tasks, managing internal communications as well as liaising with artists.

As Assistant Producer, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding and ambitious productions and events and developing our practice as an industry leader in site-specific programming.

This role requires occasional evening, weekend and bank holiday work.
