We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity - a Business Relationship Manager to lead the Project Office and Business Relationship Team whose mandate is to work closely with departments across the organisation to identify, implement, and support technology-based projects, be they new build, upgrades or benefits realisation.

In this role you will be expected to business partner with key stakeholders at Director level to influence the business and identify solutions as well lead a team who play an important business partnering ‘account management’ role within HRP. The team will ensure departmental resources are prioritised and deployed to projects where a best practice, methodology-based approach adds value and helps to manage risks (both business and technology) and . has a positive impact on the business. An in-depth knowledge of full lifecycle software developments and real-time systems operation and development will be a core part of your work.

It is a role that will touch every part of the organisation including: the visitor experience; public engagement; shopping; our growing membership scheme; understanding customer behaviours and growing our audience reach, across each of our six sites.


To be successful you will have a strong understanding of project management principles so extensive use and knowledge of Prince2 or other project management tools are required, along with experience of working with third party suppliers. You will be responsible for translating organisational direction into specific team and individual job expectations, managing subsequent performance through effective monitoring, coaching, and feedback. The ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines is essential

The business liaison responsibility will require a strong determination to implement and drive continuous improvement methodologies across the teams along with the ability to influence and persuade, so credibility and being able to demonstrate technical knowledge whilst cutting through complexity to translate and apply this to solutions are crucial to deliver business change.
