36 hours per week. This role requires you to join this rota, so you must be able to work some evenings as well as some weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking for someone to manage contractors to provide internal customers
with Mechanical and Electrical Building Services and adequate servicing to ensure legal compliance. All services must be delivered to provide Hillsborough Estate with an acceptable standard of power, heating, lighting and utilities and to provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for all visitors at Hillsborough.

You will proactively manage external contractors, ensuring that professional
standards are constantly delivered. You will be responsible for managing the Asset Management System for site, manage mechanical, electrical and security contractors, coordinate all PPM work on site, manage Hillsborough M&E budgets to ensure that value for money is achieved from all work undertaken.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a historic building environment and will have comprehensive knowledge of maintaining building services. A good all round experience of working within the M&E servicing industry is required with a proven ability to manage contractors.   

You will have to demonstrate that you have good people skills and are able to prioritise maintenance issues, as working across our many departments and with contractors is essential for success in this role.  Applicants must be qualified to the 17th edition and demonstrate wide ranging experience within the M&E industry.

Please also note that the appropriate level of security clearance will be required before a start date is confirmed to you. This can take an average of 17 weeks to complete and therefore you will not be able to start employment until this process is complete.
