We currently have a vacancy for a full time Chapel Assistant to the Chaplain at HM Tower of London.

Your role will be to provide the highest quality administration and support to the Chaplain.  This will include preparing general correspondence and documents; maintaining the filing system; setting up meetings, taking minutes, answering visitor enquiries and managing the Chaplain’s diary.

The role involves interacting with a wide range of cross-department teams and the general public in order to ensure that all concerned have the information needed to manage the Chapel to a high standard.

You will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who will relish the challenge of working as part of a team. The role offers a chance to learn more about the role of the Chapel in our organisation.

Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), you’ll be organised and comfortable working as part of a team.  Applicants should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and work on their own initiative and be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office.

The candidate will be required at times to work flexible hours and occasional weekends. Familiarity with the Anglican Liturgy and the Church of England, or a willingness to learn is desirable.
